can't install a distribution package using provisionning while working by scheduled task

hi everyone,

i'm unable do install a software using a provisionning task, in my SCDCLIENTHANDLER.log i get stuck to :

Sdclienthandler.exe checking for sdclient Mutex,

and still repeating this action.

 

for the same package, i can install it using a schedule task.

 

is any body can't tell me what's wrong ?

Hello Landon,

I have to agree with Roger here. The entries with paths have certainly been supported since 8.4 and are also implemented by the Professional Services.

Has something changed here?

Hi,

 

wir sind darauf schon mal bei dem Intel Grafiktreiber reingefallen. Mach dir mal ne CMD auf und spring mal zum Desktop und gib "dir" ein. Bei dem Intel Graka Treiber war das so das die Bezeichnung die du in der GUI gesehen hast eine Andere war als das was die CMD ausgibt.

ensure mobile users connect as Self Service Mobile

can this be done?

 

For example.

On my phone I open our site and it logs me into the full site.  Is there a trigger that can identify that the user is coming in on a mobile platform and load as the Self Service Mobile if they have that role?

 

Right now the only option seems to be if we add the /modules/selfservice/#home to the URL it seems to work.

Yes, I do have data translation services available.  I've been following rabbit trails on this all morning, from the ldappl3.ini file to the few 4100 errors in my event log.  I have gotten 34 error scans in the last two hours, and that does not correlate with my event log, so that may be a dead end.  I'll refrain from posting too much of my digging since I do not know what is relevant and I don't want to muddy the waters.  It also seems like machines disappearing may have been inaccurate.  People on my team have said they disappear, but I have only witnessed them not showing up, and it appears to only be virtual machines which do get reused and that is what led me to think they were getting blacklisted as duplicates.  My understanding of this process is that eventually new IDs would be generated, though.

Yes you can but its global. There is a single record in the Global table of the database. In it there is a field called RootFolder. Update this to another path and it will redirect the cache.

 

Honestly I wouldn't do this, I would create a symbolic link upon computer start and do it that way.

I'm experiencing the same problem right now.  In my case, I've created a query that pulls the ReleaseID from the registry (aka the windows 10 version number 1703/1709/1803 so forth).  The data was there and working at one point.  Now, computers that I know have had their version change do not show in landesk.

Hello Kayla, no other ideas were offered up, we ended up scheduling and running a SQL job nightly to cleanup any entries where the deleted flag is 1.  So far we have no further reports from this particular user.

Thanks AlasdairRobertson! I think your right. I am using a Boolean field and I don't think I am initializing the field. How do I initialize the Boolean field?

In a workflow, I create a new object. During creation I set the Boolean field based on the outcome of an expression.  Here is expression.

 

Then the next step in the workflow the IF Block will continue if true and stop if false.

Scanned Data Suffix With TE Emulation

Using the Velocity Android client running TE (VT220) emulation on a Honeywell Dolphin 75e Android Device.

 

I'm able to get a suffix added to data scanned using the internal scanner, but not the external on (Honeywell 8620).

 

Added a Honeywell scanner profile as follows:

 

 

Anything scanned using the external scanner required a manual enter key.
